Open Workgroup Manager
In the Workgroup Manager Connect dialog:
Address: (Your server's hostname)
User Name: diradmin
Password: (Directory Administrator's password)
Click "Connect"
In the top toolbar, click on "Accounts"
In the left-hand sidebar, click on the user tab (single person silhouette)
In the top toolbar, click on "New User" (blue icon with a plus)
In the main viewing area, under the "Basic" tab:
Name: (Student's full name)
User ID: (Unique number for each account, typically this is a version of the student number)
Short Names: (Unique account name for each student. See your Student Information System)
Password: (Your school should have a specific password scheme that they use. This may be their birthday, or pin number)
Click on the "Advanced" tab:
Under "Keywords, click the +
Select "student" and (graduating year) keywords and click "ok"
Click on the "Groups" tab:
Click the +
Drag the "Students Graduating in (graduating year)" group to the "Other Groups" list.
Click on the "Home" tab:
Choose the URL that corresponds to the user's graduating year.
Click "Create Home Now"
Click Save.
