Click the link to "Manage Your Apple ID"

and sign in.

On the left side, choose the option to Edit Password and Security.

Then, on the right, click "Get Started" under the heading "Two-Step Verification"

You will be guided through several informational screens.

Click "Continue" to move forward through each one.

Once past the informational screens, you will be prompted to enter your phone number.

After entering your phone number, a 4 digit verification code will be sent to your phone.

enter it on the next screen.

You will then be given an opportunity to authorize any other devices attached to your Apple ID to be eligible

to be part of your two-step authentication.

Authorize as you wish and then continue.

You will be given your Recovery Key.

Copy this down and keep it somewhere safe.  If you lose your phone, or can't remember your password, 

you WILL NEED this.  Apple will not be able to recover it for you.

Press "Continue" to go to the final step.

Check the appropriate box and click on "Enable two-step Verification."

You're Done!
